REDS THROUGH TO CL GROUP PHASE Liverpool have secured their place in the lucrative group phase of the Champions League following a 1-1 draw against Maccabi Haifa on Tuesday night. Peter Crouch opened the scoring early in the second half only for Roberto Colautti to level nine minutes but the Reds were always in the driving seat against the Israeli champions and advanced courtesy of their 2-1 first leg success.
